Application Support Specialist

Your Role: 

As part of the IT Operations team, the Application Support Specialist, will provide IT guidance and support to the entire organization. You will directly support end-users by handling escalations, resolving user issues, and quickly resolving any ongoing issues.

Your Resume: 
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT/Sys Admin role
  • Experience working in a remote environment and using asynchronous collaboration and communication tools for yourself and with groups
  • Application support experience
  • Customer service desk experience
  • Experience working with Apple & Windows for personal and mobile computing
  • GSuite & Office 365 cloud infrastructure experience for mail, document storage, access management, etc.
  • SaaS setup and administration experience (Slack, Miro, Zoom, Sonos, Spotify, Celoxis)
  • Firewall, Router and WIFI access point management and support experience
  • Audio & Visual experience with Saas solutions and consumer streaming services
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 
  • Handling incoming queries and help requests from end users via various communication platforms
  • Handling break/fix and configuration issues
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software
  • Documenting common support procedures that coworkers can follow
  • Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs
