People and Talent Specialist

The Role:

As a People & Talent Specialist, your role will be to provide the support needed for Watershed Partners to source, hire and onboard new employees in a wide range of specialized roles. You bring creativity, experience, and knowledge to your role, and you relish in putting new ideas, tools, and approaches into action. As part of the People Operations team, you will work closely with various internal stakeholders to assess their hiring needs and create effective hiring campaigns that yield top talent in our industry. You will be the main point of contact between candidates and Watershed Partners, and as such, you are responsible for acting as an ambassador for our brand.

Your Resume:
  • 3 years of experience in an HR and Recruiting role
  • Experience using ATMs and HRISs
  • Demonstrated ability in creating and delivery effective recruitment strategies
  • Experience working in a remote environment
What you Offer:

Full-cycle recruitment: You identify the appropriate recruitment channels for the unique roles that Watershed offers. You conduct resume and phone screens, provide support to the interview panels and hiring managers, and keep an open line of communication to all applicants and candidates. Once hired, you lead employee onboarding, ensuring new hires have a great experience through the entire recruitment process.

You understand and can articulate Watershed’s key offerings and act as an ambassador in all candidate interactions. You maintain a warm relationship with all candidates, understanding the importance of building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline.

You contribute to knowledge sharing and capture within the team. You know how and when to step in and lead a process, and you are equally comfortable defining your role as a member in support of others, actively connecting with others to understand their needs, and sharing your knowledge and expertise in ways that ensure everyone around you can succeed.

Tech savviness: You are experienced with Google Suite tools (Gmail, Google Calendar), Microsoft Office, HRIS, Slack, Zoom, and ATSs. You are a quick learner and are eager to adopt new technologies, and excel in a remote work environment.

Analytical Skills: You create and run reports that help Watershed to identify key metrics that will ensure our recruitment strategies and processes are successful. Cultural Agility: You have a demonstrated ability to quickly, comfortably, and successfully work in cross-cultural and international environments.
